I’m Lorna, I’m a wife, a Mum a nurse and a bit of a geek, and this is my site of stuff I have made.

I get most of my ideas from everything around me, my daughter is a constant inspiration for things and also my husband who keep coming with with great suggestions of things I can make (even if half the time he admits he doesn’t think I will do it).

I have always loved making things but only when my daughter came along I found myself starting to make things again and I have been having a lot of fun.

I am a nurse and work currently in an Orthopaedic ward in Forth Valley, Scotland.  I qualified back in 2004 from Stirling University.  I currently only work part time to give me plenty time to be home with my daughter

I am a bit of a geek, I have a love of most things Sci-fi (but no I’m not a trekkie).  I love gaming and can regularly be found yelling at some game on the xbox. I listen to all sorts of music but mostly enjoy a bit of Jazz.  My favourite film of all time is The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.
